2020 in the USA

It is crazy that after living in Mexico the last 5 months that we are now back home in the United States. Although it was really hard to leave Mexico, it is nice to be back home with the family again for the holidays. Let me tell you, it is freezing here hah!

One of my favorite Chamberlain traditions is spending New Years in Pine Valley. Every New Years Eve, Greyon's family goes to their family cabin in Pine Valley. It is our favorite place. We always eat homemade chili the night of New Years Eve with all of his family, eat many treats, play games, and watch movies until midnight.

On New Years day, we woke up to a little surprise from Kris Kringle. Usually the small gifts includes some treats, a tiny toy, and a movie. However, this year we were extra spoiled and got some switches along with our treats! Greyson was a very happy boy. You can find us playing Lego Harry Potter all day long! After we opened up our presents, we headed down the road to Grandma Stucki's for a New Years breakfast. We always eat way too many pancakes, eggs, sausage, and especially hot coco. After we filled ourselves up we grabbed the sleds and headed to the biggest hill we could find. SLEDDING WAS SO FUN! This year we found some crazy places to go, which made it better than ever! Our last tradition at the Chamberlain cabin is making a spoof video on New Years. The videos are the cringiest videos you will EVER watch, I promise you that, but they are too fun to make. This years video was "The Hungry Games," If you dare to watch it click here. Once again it was the best New Years with Greyson's family. I love this tradition so much and I can't wait to do it every single year.
Fun fact: one year ago Greyson proposed to me here in Pine Valley during our New Year tradition. It was my first time spending New Year's with Greysons family and it has become one of my favorite holidays thanks to them. It may be even a little more special since Greyson proposed to me last year here. I cannot believe it has been one year since I said, "Yes!"

BEST YEAR EVER! I do not think we will be able to beat 2019, but I can't wait to see what happens.

Happy New Years!
