preference

So this week was not too bad. School started up again but it was bound to happen sooner or later. We are half way done I CAN DO THIS. Or so people tell me.

So the highlight of this week was preference. If I am being honest I was a bit nervous. Friday night about 11:30 our plans fell through and we were kind of freaking out. We all met up grouchy and tired. After a bit of music and treats we became a bit more alive. We figured out a plan and it turned out to be really fun!

We came up with the idea of doing a picture scavenger hunt. We met up, split into groups and all rushed into our cars. Every second counted and WE WERE NOT GOING TO LOSE.

What we had to do was..
- take a picture of all St. George
- take a video dancing in front of the high school
- take a video doing the mannequin challenge
- take a picture of a stylish outfit on from a thrift store
- take a picture of a yogurt sample at least two inches tall
- take a picture sitting on a couch
- take a picture playing on a playground
- take a picture with a missionary
- take a video in a cart going down the grocery aisle
- take a picture holding a flag from a golf course
- take a picture with a cop
- take a video doing a Chinese fire drill
- take a picture reading a book
- take a video hiding plastic posts
- take a video hopping down a crosswalk
- take a picture in front of a water feature
- take a video pretending you are from the future
- take a picture tipping someone

OKAYY sorry that was incredibly long.

We raced around town because we were going to finish this first. We almost got into MULTIPLE wrecks. A lot of them were because of my date hah. People yelled at us, glared at us, got really annoyed, and got kicked out of some stores but it made it all the more fun! Whoever got to swig first won, obviously that was us. The other team was not too happy about that. They tried to call us cheaters, and make excuses.. but excuses do not change results:)

This is my first attempt EVER to make a video so do not judge;) even though I am actually quite proud of it

The rest of the dance was just as good! We took pictures in the down town parking garage. Earlier that week it had snowed and for St. George that is EXTREMELY RARE. Pictures were freezing! Lucky me I brought a blanket but by the end of the night it was stolen. If you are wondering why we are ALWAYS in the middle its because my date was the tallest. He was 6'7 so heels were not a problem.

After pictures we headed to Rigatti's for dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. It was some of the most amazing pizza EVER. Later we headed to the dance. We danced until we ALMOST dropped. And we ended the night with some ice cream and beer pong. No worries it was only water but we made it totally disgusting. Adding chocolate syrup, spices, etc. It was awful but we had many many good laughs.

PREFERENCE 2017
My date was so much fun and it definitely was one my favorite dances. I had a group with all of my best friends which made it 12389x better! One thing I have learned from high school is to laugh at yourself, and be yourself. Sometimes we get into these awkward moments or try to impress people. The best you can do is BE YOURSELF. Find friends that you can be yourself around and love you for it. Don't change yourself. I have definitely found these friends, which is why having us all in the same group was so much fun. I lam so grateful for all the memories and friendships that are made in high school. Even  though junior year is a lot of hard work, all the memories are oh so worth it.
   MAKE EVERY MOMENT COUNT!
