For my entire life, I have spent the Fourth of July the same. However, this year with my friends leaving and Greyson back in town, I decided to switch it up and stay in my hometown. This Fourth of July was spent in my hometown with my best friends. Although the heat was almost unbearable, the company was exceptional. My friends and I spent most of the day swimming, then we had a bbq for dinner, and then spent the night watching my eight-year-old crush, Scotty McCreery, perform live during the fireworks!
OUR FIRST FOURTH<3
After the fireworks, we all headed over to my friends for ice cream and sparklers. It was late at night, and we were jamming to "I am proud to be an American" for the hundredth time that day. Luckily the neighbors did not mind too much. Then finally I had to say my first of many "see you later's" to my best friend, Ben! Holy, this hit me. This is the last time we will all be together for the next two years and maybe more. Before we said our last goodbyes, we all joined in a huddle and sang, "You are going to miss this"..., and wow, that really hit home.
Louisiana sure is lucky to be getting Benjamin, he is the best of the best!
It was the best fourth!
