conference + easter

Because of Christ's perfect love, everything is possible. The atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ happened because we have a Father in Heaven who loves us more than we can imagine and a Savior who was willing to pay the ultimate price because He loves us too. 

Christ's love is stronger than anything else. Today in conference, a talk was given where he explained Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane in a way I never thought of it before. I learned that while he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane, he forgot about himself and prayed for us. He prayed for His loved ones, strangers, and people who had hurt him. He suffered for each and everyone of us and this is because he loved us more than himself. 

Because of His atonement I know I will never be alone and He knows exactly what I am going through. High school can be so rough and life is only going to become harder, which is hard to comprehend. I cannot imagine life becoming harder than it has been recently, but I am comforted to know I will not be alone. Through Gods grace I have been helped and strengthened, and for that I am so so grateful. 

Because of him we are able to triumph over every challenge, hardship, or trial all because He did it first. Because of him hope is never lost, and we can live forever with our loved ones.
