lake powell

I'd give this week a 20/10 because..
1. I was in my favorite place
2. I was with my favorite people
3. There was always good food
4. I finally wake boarded for the first time (even if it was a fail)
5. I didn't peel my entire tan off!

Lake Powell is always a good time NO MATTER WHAT. There's no place I would rather be really (well except for maybe Europe, Costa Rica, Outer space, Africa, Mount Everest, etc). So
maybe thats a lie.. hah! This is my favorite place that is more realistic to go to every year. There's so much to do theres absolutely no way to ever be bored. Boating, kayaking, exploring, jet skiing, cliff jumping, hiking, paddle boarding. We're constantly in the water which is so fun.

Okay, so my highlights of the trip definitely were kayaking to Antelope canyon (it was so pretty and cool). Unfortunately, all the pictures are on my uncles camera. Jet skiing and racing my best friend on them (we only about crashed a minimum amount of times).Boating adventures with my fam. I tried wake boarding which was a complete fail but I got up just never made it past that point lol. To be fair though I found out later my "teacher'' was showing me the completely wrong way. Smh. We were going to travel up Escalante which is absolutely gorgeous. We were having boat troubles though, my parents didn't really want to get stranded out there. We made it to rainbow bridge though which was almost as cool. On the boat ride we got attacked by wasps, which was very life threatening hah. I wish we had my family on film trying to get rid of the wasp, it was quite the show. Lake Powell couldn't have been better. Oh and the sunsets, and stars were pretty fantastic too. What isn't fantastic though at Powell?

Here's some pictures from the trip. We hardly took any pictures considering we were in the water most of the time. I got a few though.

Cheesing it up for you guys. Selfies, bad hair, and pretty scenery make up most of the pictures. Oh, and my cute parents. Also featuring Stu falling off the paddle board. He did say he wanted an action shot on it though.

 LAKE POWELL 2016 WOOT WOOT!

vegas trip

Okay so me and my friends made a bucket list for the summer. To be honest we were failing at accomplishing it. At least for the most part. But hey.. we have been finally doing stuff off of it. Quite a bit lately, for example.. VEGAS! It was so so much fun with my best friends. We went to the mall, ate SO much food (too much), miniatured golfed, met a homeless man, went to wet 'n wild, and explored the strip. . So if you know me and my friends we aren't the brightest bunch. Wet 'n Wild was so much fun, but SO FREAKING HOT! We didn't even think about water shoes didn't think we could wear some.... I think we were the only people in the whole park not wearing some haha! We were running from puddle to puddle, to the shade, to the grass, absolutely anything to get the burning at ease. It was quite the experience. It was all worth the blisters and burnt feet though.
At a stop at one of my favorite places. IN 'N OUT! We gave a homeless man some money. He was pretty cool we all ended up talking to him and he gave us his whole life story. He was a huge drug lord and he told us he was addicted to money, he had a good life he said. He wasted it though, went to prison, now went to one of the biggest drug lords to nothing. It was all sad but he was so humble. He didn't blame anyone else but himself and knew he put himself in that situation which was kinda cool. After that we went to he bologio hotel (no idea how it's spelled) but we watched the water show and it was really cool! Saw a glimpse of the "Eiffel tower" IT WAS HUGE! Come to find out though the really one is more than twice the height which is crazy. Can't wait to go to Europe one day. hah! It was a good time.

Vegas couldn't have been better with my best friends. Jamming out in the car on our way home at 2am was almost just as fun though.

fourth of July

My second favorite holiday. Because Christmas is my first (obviously). The Fourth of July! It couldn't have been better. Family, food, camping, fireworks, dancing, music, and peach cobbler about sums it up. It's always a good time no matter what with this gang. I have the best family hands down. Our love for settlers of catan, watermelon cake, and pulled pork sandwiches, will always be my favorite. Every fourth of the July we go camping for a few days, go to the parade, compete in sports events, and then watch the fireworks in the bed of a truck. It can be a little hectic but that makes for the best times right?

The Fourth of July could not have been better. I am so grateful for this country that I live in, and the freedoms we have. I know America is the choice land which is pretty cool for us. God blesses us in so many ways! Also America has some great views.
