thankful

Our family pictures for 2016, taken in my favorite spot in Utah!! This family is one of the many things I am grateful for.

This time of the year is definitely my favorite. Remembering everything i'm thankful for, the season of giving, the Christmas music, and the delicious food is an added bonus. There are so many things in my life I am grateful for. It easily comes down to my friends, my family, and this gospel. Without these three things in my life, I would not be where I am today. They help me grow, and bring so much happiness in my life.

my favorite season o(f all)

The other day as Whit, Kenna, and I were exploring downtown St. George (one of my favorite parts about this town) we decided to take some pictures. It's during he Fall season but since St. Georges' fall is like a month delayed there are no pretty leaves sadly. We were stuck with green. We were in Fall colors though and in that Fall mood. SO WHY NOT HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT?

Okay so life is just going great right now because, it's my most favorite season, the first quarter of school is FINALLY over (people were not kidding when they said junior year was MISERABLE), BUT ITS NOW FALL BREAK YAY! I got my family to go up North so we could see the mountains in the Fall! I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Waking up and going running in the canyon definitely was my favorite part. Up North is so so pretty. I love St. George but our Falls are very delayed and last about 10 seconds.

While we were up North I got to visit my family!! Never get to see these cousins so it was so fun, even though they're a little crazy and a lot at times. My cousin got baptized this weekend, awe so proud of him. After the baptism was followed with lots of good food soo nothing better than that!

I LOVE THIS SEASON SO MUCH! This time of the year is just so happy. Not to mention Christmas is just around the corner! First, I got to worry about my Fall bucket list I got to complete first. Finished about 1/15 soo good start HAH! It'll be done by the end.

homecoming week

This school year has been absolutely crazy. I think I have had more homework than ALL my school years put together. Its been a party nonetheless. I have been able to squeeze a few entertaining things in here and there.

This week was soo much fun. HOMECOMING WEEK! Royalty, powderpuff, football game, and the dance. These are the memories I want to hold on to once high school is over. Shout out to my awesome friends who make these moments 12380982390x more fun!

POWDER PUFFFF! Juniors were there to dominate but unfortunately we had a few mistakes. We will get the win next year though. Playing football was so much fun. Honestly, I wish they would make a girls football team hah. It's probably best without it though, the bruises I received from one game was insane!

HOMECOMING GAMEEE! Dixie vs Deserthills we beat them at their homecoming game last year and ours this year. We screamed so loud we lost our voices but its okay we got some ice cream to help the healing process afterwards.

HOMECOMING DAY! It could not have been better. For our day date we painted pottery and if you ever question it like I did, DON'T! It was soo much fun. Definitely want to do it again sometime. Took pictures downtown and headed to my favorite place to eat. PASTA FACTORY. What else? The dance was a non-stop party along with the rest of the night. Dayton was a pretty great date (especially since he put up with me listening to Hannah Montana)
Homecoming week was pretty superb.
I would give it a 12/10 ;)
My first homecoming was definitely one to remember!

junior year

Summer has come and gone again. It's literally the saddest time of the year. Summer seriously lasted .5 seconds. Never want it to end, but sadly that isn't how it works. I am really going to miss having all my free time, no requirements, partying everyday, oh and especially my summer tan. I worked so hard on it! haha

School is awful but on the bright side, I get to see my cute friends everyday, go to football games, cheer in the student section, and go to school dances! So I guess it's not all that bad. Oh and we get to see some cute guys;) lol

So for the end of the summer my best friends and I had to do one last dinner date before the summer ended. We went to our favorite spot PASTA FACTORY! We literally go there like every month. The workers there always remember us because we always get so many refills of breadsticks, always have the hardest time figuring out what we want (even though we get the exact same thing every time, not even kidding) and we are probably soooo loud! It's always such a fun time though. Later we visited our friend at 25 Maine. Even after all the breadsticks and pasta we ate, we had to get a cupcake (best cupcakes you can eat, and I,m usually not a fan of cupcakes).

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Only went two hours so it could've been worse. WE ARE JUNIORS NOW! Woahhh two more years, what the heck. I've been with these girls since the sixth grade. Now that school has started we have many, many lunch dates & study sessions ahead of us. Can't wait for our weekly Durango trips also (SO GOOD)!

My cute young women leaders made this handout for us for school. Thought I would share it since it has some great tips for starting school!

so since school has started I figured I should write some goals for this year.....

                                                                - KEEPING MY 4.0

- BEING OUTGOING (not awkward)

- TALKING TO NEW PEOPLE

- NOT TO PROCRASTINATE

- BE NICE AND POSITIVE
- ACTUALLY READ A BOOK
-HAVE PATIENCE FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE
(praying that I will accomplish these goals)

LETS HOPE THIS IS THE BEST SCHOOL YEAR YET!

lake powell

I'd give this week a 20/10 because..
1. I was in my favorite place
2. I was with my favorite people
3. There was always good food
4. I finally wake boarded for the first time (even if it was a fail)
5. I didn't peel my entire tan off!

Lake Powell is always a good time NO MATTER WHAT. There's no place I would rather be really (well except for maybe Europe, Costa Rica, Outer space, Africa, Mount Everest, etc). So
maybe thats a lie.. hah! This is my favorite place that is more realistic to go to every year. There's so much to do theres absolutely no way to ever be bored. Boating, kayaking, exploring, jet skiing, cliff jumping, hiking, paddle boarding. We're constantly in the water which is so fun.

Okay, so my highlights of the trip definitely were kayaking to Antelope canyon (it was so pretty and cool). Unfortunately, all the pictures are on my uncles camera. Jet skiing and racing my best friend on them (we only about crashed a minimum amount of times).Boating adventures with my fam. I tried wake boarding which was a complete fail but I got up just never made it past that point lol. To be fair though I found out later my "teacher'' was showing me the completely wrong way. Smh. We were going to travel up Escalante which is absolutely gorgeous. We were having boat troubles though, my parents didn't really want to get stranded out there. We made it to rainbow bridge though which was almost as cool. On the boat ride we got attacked by wasps, which was very life threatening hah. I wish we had my family on film trying to get rid of the wasp, it was quite the show. Lake Powell couldn't have been better. Oh and the sunsets, and stars were pretty fantastic too. What isn't fantastic though at Powell?

Here's some pictures from the trip. We hardly took any pictures considering we were in the water most of the time. I got a few though.

Cheesing it up for you guys. Selfies, bad hair, and pretty scenery make up most of the pictures. Oh, and my cute parents. Also featuring Stu falling off the paddle board. He did say he wanted an action shot on it though.

 LAKE POWELL 2016 WOOT WOOT!
